Entrance for  members of ARCI, tickets 8 Euros. In collaboration with Beit Venezia – home for Jewish Culture and Wake Forest University.

June 19th – 8 p.m. At the Doge’s Palace (sala dello scrutinio), on the opening night of the exhibition “Venice, the Jews and Europe. 1516-2016″ : “Music without Borders”, a concert of the Compagnia del Madrigale – Il Pomo d’Oro. Program with music by Benedetto Marcello and Salomone Rossi.

June 23rd – 9 p.m. Mestre, at Teatro Toniolo, Piazzetta Cesare Battisti – Concert and show: Flamenco Sephardit, A project by Melina Rosenberg, directed by M. Jeffrey Eckstein – with Audrey Babck and rabbis Marc Philippe and Scialom Bahbout, and with dancers Celia Fonta and Jose Junco. July 25th, 7 p.m. Isola di San Servolo, Venice International University Auditorium: “Notes from the Ghetto”. Yiddish music and songs with Myriam Fuks and Roby Lakatos, and Wilmos Csikos, Pal Szomora, Kaman Czeki. An event by Venice International University under the auspices of the Municipality of Venice and the Committee “500 Year of the Venice Ghetto”. This event is made possible thanks to Philippe and Catherine Amon. To reach San Servolo: Vaporetto n. 20 from San Zaccaria at 6.30 p.m.

Organised by the German Center for Venetian Studies and the Municipality of Venice with the support of Fondazione Giorgio Cini.
